Booking a session

A booking made online is a request, not a confirmation. We confirm it and assign your photographer separately, and we will contact you if the date or slot you chose is not workable.

Prices shown are a starting point. The final amount depends on hours, crew, locations and the retouching the set needs, and you will have it in writing before we shoot rather than after.

Changes and cancellations

You may reschedule or cancel a studio session free of charge up to 48 hours beforehand. Inside 48 hours, any deposit taken at booking is retained, because the slot and the crew are already held. Wedding and campaign dates carry their own terms, set out in your contract.

If you arrive substantially late we may need to shorten the session so that later bookings are not delayed. Where weather or a location falling through makes a shoot impossible, we will reschedule at no charge.

Delivery

We agree the delivery window with you at booking and put it in writing. As a guide: a preview set within 48 hours, a full edited gallery in two to three weeks, and four to six weeks for a wedding.

You receive edited images. Raw and unedited files are working material and are not part of the delivery unless we have specifically agreed and priced it.

Copyright and how you can use the images

We retain copyright in the photographs we take. Your booking includes a licence to use them in the way set out in your quote — personal use by default, with commercial use licensed and priced separately. If you are not sure which one your intended use needs, ask us before you publish.

Please do not crop, filter or otherwise re-edit delivered images for publication, and credit the studio where a credit is customary.

We would like to show selected images from your shoot in our portfolio, on this site and on social media. Tell us in writing that you would rather we did not — before or after the shoot — and we will not, at no cost to you.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity that happens under your account, including access to any gallery we share with it. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

Please give accurate contact details. We rely on them to reach you about your booking and to send you your gallery.

The shoot itself

Tell us before the day about location access, anyone who should not be photographed, and anything else that affects how we work. Where a venue or a public space requires a permit or a fee, obtaining it is your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Photography is interpretive. We will show you our work and talk through what is realistically achievable on your date, in your location and in the light available, but we cannot guarantee a specific frame.

If you are commissioning a shoot involving other people, please make sure they know they are being photographed and are content to be. Where we need a model release, we will bring one.

Payment

Nothing is charged when you book online. A deposit is taken when we confirm the booking, and the balance is due before the edited gallery is released unless we have agreed otherwise. Deposits are applied against your final invoice.

The content, images and branding on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced without permission. We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
