Our story
More than a studio. A room built for light.
Set on a quiet stretch of Lavelle Road, our floor was built around one thing: north light, and enough space to use it properly. Every commission begins with a conversation about what the pictures are actually for.
We take a small number of bookings a week so no shoot is rushed, and we capture, cull, retouch and deliver everything in-house.
Shot by the person you booked
The photographer you choose is the one who turns up, and the one who edits the set afterwards. Nothing is farmed out.
North-light studio
A daylight floor with full blackout when you want it, and a professional strobe and modifier kit when you don't.
Your files, protected
Cards are backed up to two locations before we leave a shoot, and your edited gallery stays online for a year.
Planned before the day
Every booking opens with a call about mood, wardrobe and locations, so the shoot day is spent shooting.

Before your shoot
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks for a studio portrait. Weddings and campaigns fill months ahead — if you already have a date, tell us early and we will hold it while you decide.
When do we get the photos?
A preview set within 48 hours, the full edited gallery in two to three weeks, and four to six for a wedding. Rush delivery is available and is quoted at the time you book, never after.
How many images do we get?
It depends on the commission, and we put the number in writing before you book. A studio portrait sitting typically delivers 20 to 30 finished frames; a full wedding day, 600 to 900.
Do you shoot on location?
Yes. The studio is there for when we want to control the light, but most of our portrait and wedding work happens outside it. Travel within the city is included; anything further is quoted before the shoot.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before a studio session. Inside 48 hours, any deposit taken at booking is retained, since the slot and the crew are already held. Wedding dates carry their own terms, set out in your contract.
Who owns the photographs?
We keep the copyright; you get a licence to print and post them, and we will tell you at booking whether your use needs a personal or a commercial one. We only put a shoot in our portfolio if you are happy for us to.
